If you are a follower of this blog, you may instantly recognise a few faces in this clip. Mike Garrard and David Morgan run a company called The Trained Eye (wedding photography training) whose promos I have filmed over the last couple of years. And one of their very successful ex-students, Annamarie Stepney, can also be seen running the photobooth at the end of the clip!
You would think that filming for friends would be somewhat difficult and distracting … but no, they all made it an absolute pleasure … and tried not to talk to me ‘too’ much 🙂
I loved the fact that they flew over from San Francisco, world-famous and destination photographers, Ben Chrisman and his wife, Erin. Totally understandable considering Mike has high-quality taste in wedding photography! They were fascinating to work with, and I only hope they enjoyed themselves as much as we enjoyed having them there!

Love love love it Rich – sterling job Mr! A xxx
Hi Richard
Just to say loved the film its simplicity and format. Very entertaining. It seemed you used a Glidetrack or similar but I wondered what support you used for the camcorder.Obviously I imagine a tripod but did you also use a shoulder support or monopod The reason I ask is that I am deliberating whether to buy one or the other or in fact both. I use Sony Z1′s.Hope you don’t mind me asking.

Thanks alot Barry – the only camcorder shot in this was at the back of the ceremony (on a tripod).
All other shots are DSLR (on monopod/glidetrack/tripod/glidecam)
Thanks
Richard
