How
can you promise an individual, contemporary
wedding video?
We
believe that every wedding is completely
unique to the couple and our DVDs will prove
this. We won't fall into the usual trap
of using all the same editing techniques
(slow motion for example). Our editing skills
will enable us to spend time on each and
every shot, and stylise them in a contemporary
fashion. We also spend time looking for
and including all those extra shots that
the bride and groom tend to miss on their
day, amongst all the excitement. We have
been complimented on our attention to detail,
and forward-thinking of editing techniques.
Will
our church/venue allow filming?
Only
a very small selection of churches and
venues prohibit the use of cameras and
video cameras, but we would advise you
to double check this anyway. We would
still however be happy to work out a reduced
price to film the rest of the day should
this be the case.
How
intrusive are the cameras?
We
ensure that we blend in as seemlessly
as possible, and remain unobtrusive to
guests and photographers. Smart attire
is worn, and we will never persist on
shots that people don't agree to.
But
one of my relatives has a camcorder
too.....
Ok,
you've
got a fair point. But we've all seen home
wedding videos that are un-edited, shaky,
poor quality, and often miss the important
parts and capture perhaps too much of
the evening's antics! Since we specialise
in wedding videography, we know what the
bride and groom will want to see and hear,
and believe that only the highest audio
and visual quality are adequate.
We're
a bit camera-shy but still want
the Love Story!
Most
of our customers have admitted this, but
then walk away confidently and excited
from our camera-shoot where all we do
is have a bit of fun informally interviewing
you. It's more like a catch-up chat between
friends! We hope that this is conveyed
across when you watch the example Love
Stories in our online demo.
What
music will we have on our finished
DVD?
It's
your choice! Unless of course you have trouble
deciding! When we first meet with you, we
have a very simple questionnaire-type sheet,
which you can fill in with your list of
favourite artists/tracks. The more varied,
the better, so don't feel like you have
to stick to all the classic romance songs.
But
we have something at our wedding
that you haven't mentioned!
We
are there filming for the whole day. If
you decide to have fireworks, chocolate
fountains, magicians, bingo, games, presentations,
singers, bands, a 4 year-old niece with
a planned dance routine... then it is our
job to capture them!
Is
there a deposit involved?
We
require
a deposit of £150 for any chosen package,
at the time of booking. This reserves your
special day in our diaries.
How
soon after the wedding will we receive
the DVDs?
Generally-speaking,
we hope the finished product will reach
you in 3-6 weeks. The majority of the package
price reflects the many, many hours we spend
in the editing stage, and this involves
meticulous colour-enhancing, audio-checking,
song-matching, effect-producing, transition-making,
render-building, DVD-authoring...
Do you have insurance cover?
Yes! We have £2million public liability insurance, and £2million products liability.
