{PART 1} Rock ‘n’ Roll Bride

Nearly everyone in the wedding industry knows of, or has heard of, Rock ‘n ‘Roll Bride, aka Kat.

Since getting hitched in 2008, she subsequently began a revolution with her wedding blog. She notifies the world of the coolest and most fun weddings out there, via the medium of well-written blog entries, always with accompanying photos and videos from global wedding companies.  So influential and inspiring is she, that she brings in a staggering 90,000 visitors every month!

And what fun I had to film Kat, in a way that (I hope) conveyed her personality and lifestyle. Seriously, I walked away from the shoot totally buzzing! She’s infectious, and crazy, and .. well, just watch the clip

We had a lot of fun shooting this one, in and around Portsmouth Harbour, Reading and Oxfordshire. All completely live-action, so a real challenge to get things spot on and first time.

With thanks to a cool new Glidetrack, some filmic-colouring and a cinematic score, I was able to turn some very simply camera moves into something quite powerful!

This really was something a little different: filming and editing the flawless close-up magic of Simon Alexander, an Award-winning Magic Circle Magician. Simon was the perfect partner to help produce this, as he and I really are annoying perfectionists!

On a personal note, I’d not hesitate to recommend Simon to perform his amazing magic at any of your weddings, parties or events. He’s going to be at my sister’s wedding in August, and we all can’t wait!
