Stanmer House has probably never experienced such an array of outstanding music in all its history of intimate weddings! It really was an audible delight to hear a professional choir perform all the pre and post-ceremony music (one song was even written by the bride, Nadia!), as well as the infamous Funky Buddha wedding band, hired in for the evening’s entertainment. Fantastic stuff.

Botleys Mansion is such a magnificent country residence, with such a grand dining hall too. Perfect for surprise singing waiters, and a starlit evening dancefloor!

Wasing Park is a beautiful venue surrounded by parkland, and with everything you could need to have your perfect day on site:  small church, civil ceremony and reception areas…and one of the biggest honeymoon suites I’ve ever seen!

Nicola and Dan had the perfect day (let’s ignore that sudden downpour of rain!), and I was especially pleased to see they had also hired in my friend, Simon Alexander (a magician), too.  Go check out his site if you want to be dazzled with clever tricks, and you can even check out the promo for his new instructional DVD, which I’ve just recently created for him!

Social Sirens derived from an idea floating around on twitter, whereby money could be raised for charity if some very brave wedding industry girls came forward to do a Calendar Girls-esque photoshoot. A huge backing instantly developed from lingerie companies, UK venues, make-up artists, prop suppliers, hair stylers and more, and in no time at all several photoshoots were scheduled.

This clip is the behind-the-scenes documentary of just one of those photoshoots, and amazingly has been shortlist nominated for ‘Best Documentary Film’ by IOV, and will be awarded at ProVideo 2011. Fingers crossed!

Every element of this wedding was just jaw-droppingly stunning – the location, the venues, the weather, the food, the entertainment…and of course, Nicola and Craig.

In the build-up to their big day, it was such a bonus to be spending time in Ravello, getting to know the place inside out.  And I was honoured to join my friends Mike Garrard, Jodie Chapman and Greg, at a pre-wedding pool-side party with the couple and their guests.

All in all, a truly memorable experience!

If anyone deserved a more perfect day, it’s Philippa and Damien – two of the friendliest, happiest, warmest and generous people I’ve ever had chance to meet.

It was a pleasure to be part of their day, and witness to their humorous and emotional vows, speeches and 1st dance.  Oh, and an extra nice touch that they chose (for their 2nd dance) to use the song track that they first heard on the FX Films main showreel! Good choice

I know they are absolutely dying to watch this clip, so I’m sure they will just scan read this text in order to race to the ‘play’ button!  I hope they like all the quirky moments…which I’d like to list here, but won’t, as it’s probably nicer to watch and discover them first hand!

With its romantic fountains and landscaped lawns, the Royal Berkshire is a fantastic wedding venue, and the one that Nicole and Chris chose to hold their very special day at.  And I don’t think they’ll ever forget that weather – what a scorcher!

They are a lovely couple, and there were such sincere and contagious emotions throughout the day, including heartfelt speeches and a beautiful sung rendition of ‘Endless Love’ by their youngest bridesmaid.

When FX Films received a long distance phonecall enquiring about filming a Barcelona-based wedding, I think it took all of 2 or 3 seconds to say YES!

From start to finish, we had such a wonderful time filming all the traditions and surprises. Sarah and Rubén sure know how to hold a party!

As you’ll see from the clip itself they had (amongst other things), a projected surprise video of a music video they made together, opera singers, jazz band, superb wedding breakfast, bilingual readings and vows, dazzling evening entertainment, superb photography team (a big shout out to Roberto Ramos + co!)…

And, as always, a special thanks to my long-term 2nd camera man on the shoot, Henley Bailey, from my partner photography team, Lime Leaf Weddings.

2 corporate case studies we’ve recently been very lucky to be a part of, were producing clips for Car Magazine (ex-Stig, Ben Collins, took 6 supercars out for a spin!), and filming an exclusive Carl Barât (ex-Libertines) gig in London.

And in the same vein as weddings, they were totally memorable and proud moments!

So, if you’re really into your cars … or music … or just have a few minutes to spare during your work’s coffee break, then we hope you enjoy these following clips!

With wedding peak season just around the corner, I couldn’t wait to really kickstart it all with this fantastic wedding – at a distinctly enchanting venue, ‘South Farm’ in Cambridgeshire!  Everything from the flowery bridesmaids dresses, to the homegrown food of the wedding breakfast buffet, and the personality-personalised cupcakes, all helped in giving an organic and summer-happy feel (even when we had a mild sprinkling of rain!)

Hence the feel-good song I chose for this piece -I felt it really lent itself so well to the day, the people, and (on a technical side), the crane and glide shots!  I hope you (the viewer) feels the same.

Lauren and Simon – I’m so glad to have met you – and as much as I try to remain unobtrusive and quiet on a wedding day, I have to say my assistant and I were creasing up at the speeches (the best man is a comedian, which always helps!) and whelling up when you sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to your grandad.
