We normally sum up the whole day in a highlights clip but for this particular wedding (at the Macdonald Elmers Court, New Forest) we felt that a ‘teaser’ intro was going to be something fun to do!

The last few weeks have included all sorts of weddings for us - from Surrey, to East Sussex, to London, to Middlesex! phew! And i’ve even found the time to be one of the very proud ushers at my sister’s wedding!!
Here’s a selection of framegrabs taken directly from our ongoing edits (Gemma and Stewart, Harpreet and Gurdeep, Matt and Kelly, Dawn and Iain)….
We’ve been uber busy recently, but thought I’d revisit a ceremony-only wedding edit and put up some framegrabs from it.
What a great balcony setup at St. Peter’s, Frimley, (where I grew up incidentally)… perfect for filming from!
This was also an opportunity to work with one of our preferred photographers, the very talented Simon Hyde from Hyde End Studios. Superb example photos from this wedding can be found on his blog.

FX Films and LimeleafWeddings united as working partners a while ago now, and since then we have secured future weddings together (the Simplicity Package) as well as some combined national and international corporate jobs.
The crew at LimeleafWeddings have taken some gorgeous and varied photos, as well as some impressively high-resolution and interactive 360degree Panoramics.
Today we received wonderful news that we are infact one of the finalists for ‘Videographer 2008′, with the Gala Award evening being held on 27 September 2008 at Boreham House, Essex. Our fingers are firmly crossed!!
(The Brides Choice Award 2008 - sponsored by Champneys and Wedding Professional magazine, and in association with the Helen Rollason Heal Cancer Charity)
Included below are some framegrabs from Jo and Harry’s wedding DVD. It was an especially sunny July day, despite Jo’s continual weather worries every day leading up to it
On a separate note, we gelled really well with the husband and wife photography team, so thought we’d give them a mention (www.kmphotography.co.uk). They impressed everyone in the evening with a projected slideshow of the day’s photographs!

We at FXFilms spend many hours in post-production ensuring each and every wedding edit is creative and unique. Filmic colour-grading is an exciting editing tool, and can involve meticulous tweaking for almost every shot! But efforts pay off as we are confidently achieving looks for your weddings that you will have seen on the big screen.
To show you the diversity, here are some variations from a wedding we are currently working on. (n.b. the top-left framegrab is the original and un-coloured one)

Below are some framegrabs taken directly from the wedding edit of Chris and Michelle’s big day (28th June).
Filming started at St. Mary’s Church in Epsom and ended in the rather impressive Surrey National Golf Club, Chaldon.
Chris and Michelle were a pleasure to work for - having such loved-up couples and friendly, supportive friends and family always make our job so satisfying!

The bride really did ’shine’ throughout the day..Claire and Dean are a beautifully matched couple, and their whole day went smoothly and with tears of joy along the way amongst their family and friends.
Tewin Bury Farm (Tythe Barn), Hertfordshire, was perfect for our multi-cam setup, and for creative use of the ‘glidetrack’.
